You just got engaged. Before the planning, the guest lists and the venue decisions take over, there's this window. A moment that's purely about the two of you and nothing else.
Malta is one of the most beautiful places in the world to spend that moment. Ancient architecture, dramatic coastline and in summer; sunsets that are genuinely hard to beat. The kind of trip you'll want to remember properly. And photographs are the one thing that actually lets you do that.
I'm Phoebe, a Malta-based photographer, and I'd love to be part of it.
What to Expect
A location that works for you Not sure where to shoot? That's what I'm here for. I know Malta well and I'll suggest somewhere based on your personalities, your style and when you're visiting. If you already have a spot in mind, even better.
A session that feels nothing like a photoshoot I work with prompts tailored to each couple so nothing ever feels forced. The goal is to make it easy and fun, most couples forget I'm there within the first twenty minutes, which is exactly when the best images tend to happen.
Photos that actually look like you No stiff poses, no awkward staging. I'm after the real version of you together'; the laugh, the look, the moment between you when you're not thinking about the camera.

A Few of My Favourite Spots
Malta is a small island with a lot to offer photographically: ancient cities, raw coastline, hidden gardens, harbour views. Here are the locations I keep coming back to:
Riviera Bay: cliffs, sea, and some of the best sunsets on the island. My personal favourite. There's a short trail to walk down together before you arrive, which already sets the tone for the whole session.
Mdina: Malta's ancient walled city. Timeless and quietly cinematic. I'm biased, but I think it's one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Buskett Gardens: you wouldn’t expect this place to be in Malta. Whimsical, mystical and a little otherworldly; think Alice in Wonderland. A completely different mood from the coast and one that most visitors never discover.
Manoel Island: weathered and full of character, with views back across the water to Valletta that are hard to beat. A place that means a lot to many Maltese people and genuinely unique as a backdrop.
Wied iż-Żurrieq: off the tourist trail and better for it. Real Maltese coastline, views of the island of Filfla, and a landscape that gives you more variety than you'd expect. The drive through Għar Lapsi on the way there is worth it on its own.
Palazzo Parisio Gardens: secret garden energy. Best in spring when the flowers are at their peak. Romantic and intimate, and one of the only locations where you can pair the shoot with brunch, which makes for a lovely morning.
